Puritan Art Gallery

Students in our class and Mrs. Moore's class did some historical research on the lives of the Puritans. They then worked with a partner to create a piece of artwork that demonstrates what they learned. The art was displayed in the cafeteria, so others could view it to learn more about these original colonists.

Making Mayflowers

Today our class combined with Mrs. Moore's class to design cargo ships like The Mayflower. We tested each boat to see if it floated and what gram mass it could carry before sinking. It was a great activity the half day before Thanksgiving.  We only had a few "Speedwells." You can ask your third grader what the Speedwell was.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Field Trip to Plimoth Plantation

We had a wonderful trip on Tuesday to Plimoth Plantation.  Students learned so much about the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people.  Thank you Mrs. Crowley, Mrs. Hurwitz, and Mr. Moses for chaperoning this trip.
