Read Aloud

Today I shared one of my favorite read alouds, Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch!

This story is about an lonely older man named Mr. Hatch who receives an unexpected Valentine. The main character begins to change his old ways after receiving this surprise from a secret admirer.

Students are practicing their typing skills. They typed their reading response in a Google Form using Google Classroom.

Fractions with Conversation Hearts

Today our class used conversation hearts to find fractions of a group. Look at our sweet work!

Puritan Art Gallery

Students in our class and Mrs. Moore's class did some historical research on the lives of the Puritans. They then worked with a partner to create a piece of artwork that demonstrates what they learned. The art was displayed in the cafeteria, so others could view it to learn more about these original colonists.
